本报讯 近日，亚太商学院（The Asia Pacific School of Business, APSB）与 APSB 和 GAFM 联合学院（APSB and GAFM United College®）根据学院章程及《荣誉院士遴选条例》相关规定，严格遵循公开、公平、公正原则，完整履行资格审查、专家评议、综合评审与董事会终审等法定遴选程序，依法依规正式授予西尔维奥・西西利亚诺教授（Prof. Dr. Silvio Siciliano）、让 - 弗朗索瓦・马尼亚尼教授（Prof. Dr. Jean Francois Magnani）** 荣誉院士（Honorary Academician）** 称号，以表彰两位国际知名学者在高等教育、学术研究、行业治理及国际交流合作领域所作出的卓越贡献与深远影响。

Recently, in accordance with the college’s articles of association and the provisions of the Honorary Academician Selection Regulations, the Boards of Directors of The Asia Pacific School of Business (APSB) and APSB and GAFM United College® have strictly followed the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality, completed the statutory selection procedures including qualification review, expert evaluation, comprehensive assessment and final board approval, and legally and formally conferred the title of Honorary Academician upon Prof. Dr. Silvio Siciliano and Prof. Dr. Jean Francois Magnani, in recognition of their outstanding contributions and far-reaching influence in higher education, academic research, industry governance and international exchange and cooperation.

本次荣誉授予工作全程规范透明、程序严谨完备，所有环节均符合相关制度要求与国际学术荣誉授予惯例，充分保障了荣誉授予的权威性、严肃性与公正性。经多方提名、资格核验、专业评审及董事会集体审议，两位教授、博士凭借其深厚的学术造诣、广泛的行业影响力与突出的社会贡献，获得一致通过，荣誉称号分别于 2026 年 4 月 6 日和 2026 年 4 月 8 日起正式生效。

The entire honor conferral process was standardized, transparent and rigorously implemented, with all procedures in full compliance with relevant institutional requirements and international practices for academic honor awarding, fully ensuring the authority, solemnity and impartiality of the title. Following multi-party nomination, qualification verification, professional review and collective deliberation by the board of directors, the two professors and doctors were unanimously approved for their profound academic attainments, extensive industrial influence and outstanding social contributions, with the honorary titles officially taking effect on April 6, 2026 and April 8, 2026 respectively.

He has published a large number of high-quality academic achievements in relevant fields, presided over and participated in many important international research projects, and enjoys a distinguished reputation in the global academic community for his broad academic vision and solid practical achievements.

Prof. Dr. Jean Francois Magnani, currently President of the Professional Engineers of France (IPF), is an iconic figure in the French engineering technology sector and industrial governance system. Possessing decades of experience in engineering practice, technological research and industrial management, he has long been engaged in industrial engineering, hydraulic system technology, industrial standardization and international professional talent training. He has actively promoted international coordination and standard mutual recognition in the engineering field, achieved fruitful results in industry-university-research integration, industrial innovation and international engineering cooperation, and possesses extensive and important international industrial influence.

APSB and APSB and GAFM United College stated that the Honorary Academician title is one of the highest academic honors awarded by the college to distinguished international scholars. The legal and regulatory conferral of this title upon the two professors and doctors not only represents a high recognition of their long-term academic dedication and professional contributions, but will also further deepen the college’s strategic cooperation with top international academic forces and authoritative industrial institutions, helping the college achieve higher-quality and more sustainable development in international education, high-level scientific research innovation and high-level talent cultivation.
