Announcement on the Establishment of Professor Zhang Jin's TCM Acupuncture Inheritance Studio
As a Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture is a splendid treasure of excellent traditional Chinese medicine, embodying the unique diagnostic and therapeutic wisdom, philosophical ideas, and cultural genes of the Chinese nation. It plays an irreplaceable role in safeguarding human health and inheriting the context of civilization. Inheriting and promoting acupuncture techniques and core academic ideas is not only a contemporary responsibility to safeguard the roots of excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also an important measure to empower the implementation of the Healthy China strategy and advance the international development of traditional medicine. To systematically sort out, accurately inherit, and innovatively develop the TCM acupuncture academic achievements and clinical experience forged by Professor Zhang Jin through a lifetime of dedication, establish a professional and standardized inheritance platform, and cultivate high-quality acupuncture professionals with both medical ethics and exquisite skills, the Joint Graduate School of Traditional Medicine of The Asia Pacific School of Business specially establishes the "Professor Zhang Jin's TCM Acupuncture Inheritance Studio" upon careful preparation and official authorization. Relevant matters are announced as follows:

Professor Zhang Jin is a world-renowned master in the field of TCM acupuncture in China. As a representative inheritor of "TCM Acupuncture" on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and a core representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage acupuncture project, he has devoted his entire life to the teaching, scientific research, and clinical practice of TCM acupuncture for more than 70 years. With a rigorous academic attitude, profound academic attainments, and exquisite diagnostic and therapeutic skills, he has made indelible and outstanding contributions to the standardized, scientific, and international development of the global acupuncture cause. In the field of academic research, he focused on three major directions: innovation of acupuncture manipulation, interpretation of meridian theory, and textual research on classical acupuncture literature. Breaking through traditional research bottlenecks, he was the first to systematically propose scientific stimulation methods to improve the positive rate of meridional sensation transmission, accurately demonstrated the objective existence and core theoretical significance of latent sensation transmission, and constructed a logically rigorous and clinically relevant theoretical system of meridional sensation transmission, providing solid theoretical support and practical guidance for improving clinical efficacy of acupuncture. As the core drafter of the 2008 national standards for basic filiform needle needling methods and manipulations, he took the lead in establishing an expert team, sorted out the essence of acupuncture manipulations from past dynasties, standardized operational procedures in combination with modern clinical needs, promoted the development of acupuncture manipulations from experiential inheritance to standardization and regularization, and successfully pushed the research on acupuncture manipulations to the third historical peak after the ancient and modern times. In terms of sorting out classical literature, he spent 20 years of painstaking efforts to take the lead in compiling the million-character masterpiece "Annotated and Revised Compendium of Acupuncture and Moxibustion". After repeated textual research, collation, and supplement, he clarified errors and controversies in the literature, laying an important foundation for the clarification, academic inheritance, and modern transformation of classical acupuncture literature. In clinical practice, he always adhered to the core concept of "using fewer needles, selecting acupoints ingeniously, and achieving excellent curative effects", proficient in long-lost exquisite acupuncture manipulations such as "Feijing Zouqi" (promoting qi circulation through meridians) and "Qi Zhi Bing Suo" (qi reaching the affected area), formed unique diagnostic and therapeutic plans for various diseases in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, etc., with remarkable clinical efficacy, deeply trusted and respected by patients. Meanwhile, he actively served as a pioneer in the international dissemination of TCM acupuncture, having visited dozens of countries in Europe, America, Southeast Asia, etc., for lectures, mentoring, and academic exchanges, systematically spreading TCM acupuncture culture and diagnostic and therapeutic skills, and cultivating more than 500 outstanding disciples at home and abroad. His academic achievements and industry contributions have been included in the World Who's Who in the United States and the United Kingdom seven times, fully demonstrating the unique value and far-reaching influence of TCM acupuncture in the global medical field.

Professor Zhang Qingbin, the eldest son of Professor Zhang Jin, has been immersed in the family academic atmosphere since childhood, receiving careful instruction and personal transmission of skills from his father. He has been engaged in the field of TCM acupuncture for decades, and is not only the core inheritor of Professor Zhang Jin's academic ideas, acupuncture techniques, and medical ethics, but also a backbone force in promoting the innovative development and international dissemination of acupuncture culture in the new era. On the basis of accurately inheriting Professor Zhang Jin's core skills of "precise syndrome differentiation and exquisite needling" and the concept of syndrome differentiation and treatment, he took the initiative to integrate modern medical diagnostic and therapeutic thinking and technical means, optimized diagnostic and therapeutic plans according to the characteristics of contemporary disease spectra, and promoted the innovative development and clinical transformation of acupuncture techniques. As the president of the Hungarian Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Zhang Qingbin rooted himself in the European market, took the lead in establishing a standardized TCM acupuncture training and inheritance base locally, built an overseas inheritance platform integrating teaching, clinical practice, and scientific research, strictly followed the apprenticeship system to cultivate professionals, and strived to build an international team of acupuncture talents with solid theories, exquisite skills, and noble medical ethics. At the same time, he actively built a bridge for Sino-Western acupuncture cultural exchanges, frequently organized Chinese-foreign academic seminars and technical exchange activities, promoted the standardized registration, clinical application, and academic recognition of TCM acupuncture in Europe, made important contributions to expanding the overseas dissemination path and enhancing the international influence of TCM acupuncture, and always adhered to and continued the family mission of guarding, inheriting, and promoting acupuncture culture from generation to generation.
