Notice on the Joint Launch of Generative AI Vocational Technical Certification Courses

Promote the development of national training and vocational education

To all departments, current students, and social candidates:

In order to enhance your professional competitiveness in the field of artificial intelligence and meet the development needs of the digital economy industry, The Asia Pacific School of Business of our university has formally reached a cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Education and Examination Center (hereinafter referred to as "MIIT Education and Examination Center") to jointly launch a series of generative AI vocational technical certification courses (in fully online learning format). The specific cooperation details are notified as follows:

I. Introduction to the Cooperating Parties

(1) The Asia Pacific School of Business

The Asia Pacific School of Business of our university is a characteristic school focusing on the integration of digital economy, business, and emerging technologies. Relying on the university’s disciplinary resources, it has a mature teaching system and practical resources in fields such as artificial intelligence and digital business. It is committed to cultivating compound talents with both business thinking and technical application capabilities, and its graduates have strong employment competitiveness in industries such as the Internet and technology enterprises.

(2) Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Education and Examination Center

The MIIT Education and Examination Center is a directly affiliated public institution of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is responsible for vocational and technical education, talent cultivation, and certificate certification in the national industry and information technology field. The vocational technical certificates it issues are authoritative skill level certificates in China’s industry and information technology industry, and are highly recognized in enterprise recruitment, professional title evaluation, and skill promotion.

II. Cooperative Certification Programs

The certification programs launched in this cooperation correspond to 5 job directions under the official "Generative AI Vocational Technical Certificate" of the MIIT Education and Examination Center:

•        Generative AI Designer

•        Generative AI Application Specialist

•        Generative AI Engineer

•        Generative AI Visual Designer

•        Generative AI Architect

III. Course Learning Format (Fully Online)

1.      Learning Platform: Joint teaching via The Asia Pacific School of Business’s online teaching platform + the MIIT Education and Examination Center’s certification learning zone;

2.      Learning Resources: Include pre-recorded courses (covering theory and practical operation demonstrations), supporting practice materials, and industry case libraries corresponding to each job direction;

3.      Tutoring Support: Regular live Q&A sessions (2-3 times per month) and learning communities (followed up by dual teaching assistants: professional teachers from the business school + industry mentors);

4.      Learning Cycle: The cycle for a single job certification course is 4-6 weeks (you can flexibly arrange study time according to your own progress).

IV. Core Course Content

Different certification directions correspond to differentiated course modules (oriented to core job competencies):

•        Generative AI Designer: AI content creation logic, creative prompt design, multi-scenario content adaptation methods;

•        Generative AI Application Specialist: Practical operation of mainstream generative AI tools (text-to-text, text-to-image, etc.), industry scenario implementation cases (office, marketing, etc.);

•        Generative AI Engineer: Basic principles of large models, model fine-tuning and deployment, API calling and secondary development;

•        Generative AI Visual Designer: Advanced AI drawing tools, visual content style optimization, creation standards for commercial visual works;

•        Generative AI Architect: Generative AI system architecture design, performance optimization, security and compliance management.

V. Certificate Value and Assessment & Acquisition

(1) Certificate Value

The "Generative AI Vocational Technical Certificate" obtained through this program is an official certification by a directly affiliated unit of the MIIT, with three core values:

1.      Industry Authority: Certificate information can be queried permanently on the official website of the MIIT Education and Examination Center, serving as an authoritative skill certificate in China’s generative AI field;

2.      Employment Recognition: It has been included as a recruitment skill reference by technology companies such as Baidu, ByteDance, and Huawei, and some enterprises explicitly state "priority employment for those holding this certificate";

3.      Skill Advancement: The job skills corresponding to the certificate are highly matched with current industry needs, acting as a "competence passport" for engaging in generative AI-related work.

(2) Assessment & Certificate Acquisition

1.      Assessment Method: After completing the course study, participants will take the unified online assessment organized by the MIIT Education and Examination Center (including theoretical and practical questions);

2.      Certificate Issuance: Those who pass the assessment will be issued the corresponding "Generative AI Vocational Technical Certificate" by the MIIT Education and Examination Center;

3.      Additional Certificate: At the same time, participants will also be awarded the "Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence" issued by our university.

VI. Registration Information

•        Registration Eligibility: All current students of our university (including undergraduate, junior college, and postgraduate students) and social candidates;
