Announcement on the Appointment of Master's/Doctoral Supervisors and Industry Professors


As the essence of excellent traditional Chinese culture, the inheritance, innovation and high-quality talent cultivation of traditional medicine are important strategic directions for our school to build a distinctive disciplinary system and demonstrate school-running advantages. To actively respond to the country's call to inherit and develop excellent traditional Chinese culture, further deepen the construction of the traditional medicine discipline in our school, empower the high-quality development of talent cultivation, and facilitate the in-depth integration and innovation of traditional medical teaching and scientific research with the healthcare industry, after the Board of Directors, Board of Supervisors, Academic Committee, Academic Ethics and Morality Review Committee, and University Affairs Committee of The Asia Pacific School of Business jointly convened an extraordinary meeting, strictly in accordance with the school's Position Appointment Management Measures, conducted comprehensive evaluation and prudent deliberation on the relevant appointed candidates from multiple dimensions such as academic background, scientific research achievements, teaching ability and industry influence, and finally voted unanimously to approve, the relevant matters concerning the appointment of core positions are hereby officially announced as follows:

I. Appoint Dr. Yuan Guangming as Vice Chairman of the Academic Degrees Committee and Doctoral Supervisor of the Joint Graduate School of Traditional Medicine of our school. Dr. Yuan Guangming has profound attainments in the field of the integration of traditional medical theory research and clinical practice, and has accumulated fruitful academic achievements after years of in-depth research. His research direction is highly consistent with the development plan of the traditional medicine discipline of our school. This appointment will provide strong academic support and talent guarantee for the improvement of the quality of graduate training, the improvement of the academic degree evaluation system and the enhancement of disciplinary scientific research strength of our school.

II. Appoint Dr. Nie Long as Professor of Traditional Medicine and Healthcare Industry and Master's Supervisor of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Joint Graduate School of Traditional Medicine of our school. Dr. Nie Long has profound attainments in the field of integrated development of traditional medicine and healthcare industry, and has accumulated fruitful academic achievements and practical experience after years of in-depth research. His research direction is highly consistent with the development plan of the traditional medicine and healthcare industry discipline of our school. This appointment will provide strong academic support and talent guarantee for the improvement of teaching quality, curriculum system optimization, and industry-university-research collaborative innovation and development of majors related to traditional medicine and healthcare industry of our school.

This appointment decision shall formally take effect from the date of the announcement, and the term of office shall be implemented in accordance with the school's "Regulations on Position Appointment Management" and relevant supporting systems. It is hoped that the above-mentioned appointed personnel will uphold the original aspiration of education, fulfill the mission of being a teacher, devote themselves to educating people and deepen their teaching in the classroom in teaching work, strive to climb new heights and overcome difficulties in scientific research, take the initiative to assume responsibilities and act proactively in disciplinary construction, give full play to their professional advantages and academic expertise, work hand in hand with all teachers and students of the school, and contribute solid strength to the characteristic development of the school's traditional medicine discipline, the precise cultivation of high-quality talents, and the continuous improvement of academic influence. The school will provide all appointed personnel with a broad development platform and solid guarantee support to help them achieve the same frequency resonance between their personal academic ideals and the school's development goals.
