The establishment of The Asia Pacific School of Business Affiliated (Shenzhen) Senior High School marks a key strategic move for The Asia Pacific School of Business in its layout in the field of basic education. The school fully completed the whole-equity acquisition of the former Shenzhen Siyuan Senior High School in early December 2025. After renaming and integration, it officially joined the ranks of high-quality private senior high schools with distinctive features in Shenzhen. Its school-running qualification has passed the strict review and approval of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Education, laying a solid institutional foundation for standardized school operation and high-quality development.
Currently, the school maintains a stable and high-quality scale, with 2,500 students enrolled. A team of 110 full-time teachers has been built, characterized by "noble moral integrity, exquisite professional skills and reasonable structure". Subsequently, the inspection team focused on visiting a demonstration class taught by a special-grade teacher in the senior grade two. This class was taught by Teacher Li, a special-grade Chinese teacher, focusing on the classic fragment "Daiyu Burying Flowers" from "A Dream of Red Mansions". With "the metaphor of flowers and the fate of characters as well as the rise and fall of the dynasty" as the starting point, Teacher Li guided the students to conduct discussions based on the details of the text.
In the class, when a student put forward the insight into "the relationship between Daiyu's aloofness and the social environment of her time", Dr. Yiyan Jianyin immediately marked it with a red pen in his notebook, with approval in his eyes. The whole class was lively and orderly, with students actively raising their hands to speak, and sparks of thinking constantly colliding in the interaction.
When the after-class bell rang, the leaders stood up and applauded first. Dr. Yiyan Jianyin stepped forward to shake hands with Teacher Li and said: "You have vividly interpreted the classic through the method of 'revealing the whole through the part'. This teaching method that is close to students' cognition is worth promoting." He also specifically turned to the students who gathered around and asked gently: "Can you understand the content of this class? What reading confusions do you usually have about classics like 'A Dream of Red Mansions'?" At the meeting, Dr. Yiyan Jianyin first delivered a speech full of expectations.
