The Asia Pacific School of Business Officially Launches International Student Application System for China
– Digital Intelligence Empowers Quality and Efficiency in "Studying in China"
November 26, 2025
The Asia Pacific School of Business (APSB) is proud to announce the full launch of its "Application System for International Students in China," now open for applications globally. Prospective international students wishing to pursue higher education in China and partner institutions can submit applications via the official portal (https://apply.apsb.edu.eu). Developed to promote the internationalization of Chinese language education and serve as the foundation for the School’s cooperation with more than a dozen universities in China, this system is centered on the core values of "digital intelligence, one-stop service, and globalization." It not only integrates enrollment resources across APSB’s five global campuses (Hanoi, Hamilton, Colorado, Paris Research Center, and Ghana) but also aligns closely with China’s national strategy for opening up education to the world, injecting new vitality into the internationalization of Chinese higher education and the development of the "Studying in China" brand.
A One-Stop Digital Intelligence Platform: Addressing Cross-Border Application Pain Points with Flexibility and Security
The newly launched application system targets three key challenges in cross-border applications for international students – "cumbersome processes, difficult collaboration, and security concerns" – and establishes a full-chain intelligent service ecosystem. In terms of application procedures, the system achieves a one-stop closed loop covering "registration, university and major selection, document submission, and preliminary admission feedback": Individual applicants can leverage passport information auto-fill and AI error detection (e.g., preventing incorrect submission of HSK scores for French-taught programs) to enhance application efficiency; institutional applicants such as partner universities can utilize the "batch upload of student information" function to complete application management for groups of over 100 students at once, significantly reducing the time and effort required for collective applications.
The system’s security is particularly prominent. It strictly complies with the "Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China," the European union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and data protection laws in the United Kingdom, the United States, and other countries. Adopting dual protection mechanisms of "encrypted data storage + HTTPS transmission," the system has obtained both the "China Military Great Wall Security Certification" and the "China Ministry of Public Security Cybersecurity Certification" – making it one of the few study-abroad application systems in China with dual top-tier security qualifications, fully safeguarding the personal information security of international students.
Additionally, the system integrates a "360° Support Hub," offering real-time customer service in 8 languages (including Swahili), downloadable multilingual application guides, and exclusive webinar archives for the five global campuses (featuring alumni experience sharing), eliminating language and information barriers for applicants from different regions.
Policy-Driven Innovative Practice: Aligning with Core Goals of Educational Opening-Up
The launch of this system closely responds to China’s national strategy for the internationalization of education. The "Outline for Building a Powerful Education Nation (2024-2035)" clearly emphasizes "improving the strategic approach to opening up education and building an important education center with global influence," while the "Measures for the Administration of Schools Admitting and Cultivating International Students" and the "Quality Standards for Higher Education of International Students in China (Trial)" stress the need to adhere to the principle of "improving quality and efficiency" in international student recruitment and training. The design of APSB’s application system is a practical implementation of these policies:
On one hand, the system’s "AI-prioritized review of complete applications" function increased application processing efficiency by 72% during the 2024 pilot phase. Meanwhile, its "country-specific requirement matching" (e.g., streamlined bank statement requirements for students from Ghana and research proposal templates for applicants to the Paris Research Center) accurately addresses the core needs of students from different source countries, resolving the digital bottlenecks of "delayed information collaboration and homogenized content" in traditional recruitment. On the other hand, the system’s built-in "enrollment-cultivation-employment" data tracking system provides universities with real-time insights into student source trends (e.g., popular majors in specific regions, language proficiency distribution), enabling them to optimize curriculum design and resource allocation, and fulfilling the enrollment orientation of "valuing both quantity and quality."
Empowering the Internationalization of Higher Education: From Diverse Student Sources to Global Collaboration
As a digital bridge connecting Chinese universities with global students, the system drives the internationalization of higher education in three key dimensions:
First, **data-driven strategic upgrading of universities**. The data generated by the system, such as student source country distribution and major preferences, helps partner universities accurately grasp changes in global educational demand. For example, if data shows a 30% annual increase in applications for artificial intelligence programs from countries along the "Belt and Road," universities can promptly adjust faculty allocation and curriculum modules for relevant programs, enhancing the relevance of talent cultivation.
Second, **building a more inclusive student ecosystem**. Supporting both individual and institutional application modes, the system facilitates independent applications for scattered global students while providing batch application channels for overseas partner middle schools and education groups. This helps attract more high-quality students from Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and other regions, further expanding China’s influence as "Asia’s largest study-abroad destination" and promoting campus cultural diversity.
Third, **deepening transnational educational collaboration**. For joint training programs (e.g., the Hanoi-Colorado dual-degree program), the system features an "inter-campus internal referral" function, enabling real-time sharing of academic credits and documents. Additionally, through a database of successful international student cases and a digital resource section on Chinese culture, the system conveys the academic value and cultural charm of "studying in China" to potential global students, supporting the international promotion of China’s higher education brand.
Full-Cycle Support for a Smooth Application: Multilingual Services + Customized Guidance
To ensure a seamless application process, APSB has launched a series of supporting services: From October 17 to 21, daily webinars on system usage will be held via Zoom at 14:00 (GMT+8), featuring English lectures with real-time interpretation in Vietnamese and French, and on-demand replays. For high-frequency questions such as document uploads and scholarship applications, the system’s built-in intelligent customer service and multilingual human support team (with a response time of ≤24 hours) provide accurate answers.
It is reported that students applying through the system will also receive exclusive "preliminary admission feedback" – the system automatically screens key indicators such as GPA and language scores based on university requirements, promptly notifying students to supplement materials to avoid delays in review due to incomplete information. For admitted students, the system will assist in processing JW201/JW202 visa application documents, connecting the final link between "application-admission-visa."
A representative from APSB stated that the official launch of the application system is a concrete practice of implementing China’s national strategy for opening up education to the world, and a key step in the School’s efforts to fulfill its "Borderless Education" philosophy. In the future, the system will continue to iterate and upgrade, further integrating global educational resources to contribute to the high-quality development of the internationalization of Chinese higher education and the construction of "an important education center with global influence." Prospective applicants worldwide can visit the official application portal (https://apply.apsb.edu.eu) for more details or participate in online webinars to obtain practical guidance.
