Approved Joint Education Program with the Ghanaian Competency School of Business Administration

1. INTRODUCTION 

‌Upon proposal from the Council of School Affairs and the Academic Committee of The Asia Pacific School of Business (APSB), and subject to approval by the School's Board of Trustees and Board of Supervisors, this institution has decided to officially launch a joint education program with the Competency School of Business Administration in Ghana..This partnership aims to deliver high-quality business education programs to students in Ghana and across Africa, combining APSB’s academic excellence with COSBA’s local expertise in student support and program coordination.

 2. APPROVED DEGREE PROGRAMS 

The joint program offers a range of graduate and postgraduate degrees, designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application. All degrees are awarded by APSB, ensuring international recognition and academic rigor. The programs include: 

 2.1 Doctoral Programs 

 Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with specializations in: 

 · Strategic Management 

 · Communication and International Relations 

 · Human Capital Management 

 · Accounting and Audit Administration 

 · Security, Peace, and International Relations 

 · Procurement and Strategic Sourcing 

 · Occupational Health and Safety Management 

· DBA by Publication (specializations include Accounting, Public Administration, Political Science, International HRM, etc.) 

 2.2 Master’s Programs 

 International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) with specializations in: 

 · Entrepreneurship & Communication Studies 

 · Public Administration 

 · Security Management and Forensic Investigation 

 · Strategic Human Resource Management 

 · Strategic Management 

· Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) 

· Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specializations in Corporate Management, Project Management, Health Service Administration, etc. 

 3. ACADEMIC AND CURRICULUM MANAGEMENT

· APSB oversees the development of curricula, ensuring alignment with international academic standards and industry needs. Courses integrate theoretical frameworks with practical case studies, emphasizing real-world problem-solving. 

· COSBA facilitates program coordination, including online lecture delivery, in-person demonstrations for practical modules, and local administrative support. 

· Faculty comprises APSB professors, industry experts, and regional practitioners, ensuring a blend of academic rigor and professional insight. 

 3.2 Academic Standards and Assessment 

 All programs adhere to APSB’s rigorous academic criteria, including:
