On June 25, 2025, the opening ceremony of Changfa Technology Building and the "Gathering Strength in Qiaokou, Connecting the Globe" Wuhan Overseas Institutions Cooperation Exchange Meeting was grandly held in Qiaokou District, Wuhan. Distinguished guests, including Jianyin Yiyan, Rotating Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Asia Pacific School of Business (APSB), Yong Shengyu, Director of External Liaison Affairs, as well as government-enterprise representatives and international institutional guests, gathered to launch a new chapter of dialogue between Wuhan and the world through Changfa Technology Building, injecting strong momentum into Wuhan's construction of an "International Exchange Center."

As a strategic carrier for Wuhan's opening-up, Changfa Technology Building, with its group's resource integration advantages and global influence, has become not only an important window to showcase the city's strength but also a core platform for international institutions to integrate into Wuhan's development. This landmark building with multiple functions will provide comprehensive resource support for international institutions like APSB, accelerating their deep integration with the local industrial ecosystem.

On the event day, Mr. Dominic McAllister, Consul General of the UK in Wuhan, attended the ceremony and awarded a plaque to Changfa Technology Building. In his speech, McAllister highlighted APSB, emphasizing, "As an institution accredited by the Association of Commonwealth Universities and Universitys (ASIC), APSB enjoys high reputation in the field of international business education. Its multiple international academic quality accreditations such as QM, IACBE, and ACBSP fully demonstrate that the University has reached world-class standards in curriculum systems and teaching criteria. APSB’s participation in this cooperation will bring international educational resources and business perspectives to Wuhan."

Behind this honor lies the high recognition from international authoritative institutions such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the American Academy for Project Management (AAPM), APSB, and the Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM). As a benchmark in international business education, APSB’s participation in the plaque-awarding ceremony not only demonstrates Changfa Group’s international strategic layout but also marks Wuhan’s official establishment of in-depth docking channels with global top resources in engineering, project management, and business education.

Zhou Geng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Qiaokou District, Wuhan, emphasized in his speech, "Wuhan is a core city in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, with a strategic location as a transportation hub, a million-level reserve of scientific and educational talents, and a complete industrial ecosystem. As a frontier for Wuhan’s opening-up, Qiaokou District is accelerating the construction of a modern service industry cluster and urgently needs international educational institutions like APSB to inject innovative vitality. We warmly welcome APSB to deeply participate in Qiaokou’s construction, cultivate international management talents for local enterprises through cross-border business training and industry-university-research cooperation, and boost the high-quality development of the regional economy."

Zhao Hongliang, Mayor of Qiaokou District, further pointed out, "Wuhan has strong industrial carrying capacity and market radiation. It is currently vigorously promoting the construction of the 'Five Centers,' which highly aligns with APSB’s philosophy of 'Integrating Chinese and Western Wisdom, Unity of Knowledge and Action.' Changfa Technology Building will serve as a physical platform for bilateral cooperation. We look forward to joining hands with APSB, AAPM and GAFM etc. to build a highland for international business education and promote the deep integration of Wuhan enterprises with the Asia-Pacific market."
